Q: I downloaded MB3D but the “Formulas” tab is empty?
This is the #1 support request. Go to Internal > INI and click “Set Initial Directories”. Point the Formula directory to the /formulas folder inside your MB3D installation.
Q: Can I use my renders for commercial projects/NFTs?
Yes. The software is free and open-source. Any artwork you generate is your intellectual property. However, we always appreciate a “Made with Mandelbulb 3D” credit to support the project.
Q: How can I contribute a new formula or tutorial?
We love community contributions! Please email us with the subject [CONTRIBUTION] and include a GitHub link or a ZIP file with your .m3p or .m3f parameters.
None of the above? Feel free to write to us.
